We’re Magda and Nika, sisters, makers, and the duo behind Maddowe.
Maddowe (pronounced mad-oh) is inspired by the word meadow—a place full of life, color, and unexpected beauty. That’s exactly what we want our pieces to bring to your world: a bit of joy, a splash of color, and the feeling that you’ve found something truly special.
Handmade
Everything you see here is handmade by the two of us in Chicago. We use mostly vintage fabrics, recycled clothing, and repurposed materials because we believe in giving new life to forgotten treasures. It’s our way of honoring the past while creating something fresh and meaningful for today.
Colorful
You won’t find flat black or stark white in our work—there are so many beautiful colors in between, and we love playing with them all. Our Polish heritage, love of travel, and appreciation for craftsmanship all show up in the details, and no two pieces are exactly alike.
